Weird Al is talented, in a peculiar sort of way. But The B-52's are easily one of, if not the, best band in musical history (closely followed by Pansy Division... and then Oingo Boingo, Madness, Devo and The Clash).
But I wouldn't exactly compare a parody artist to The B-52's. That's kinda like comparing commercial jingles to Mozart.
