And 'propaganda' got to be a bad word because of the Germans using it, so what I did was to try and find some other words so we found the words 'public relations'." - Edward Bernays This is the first part of a two part clip about a man named Edward Bernays who saw how propaganda in war time could also be used to manipulate the masses during peace time, only in this sense, doing it for commercial gain. LaneCh you're an idiot! The average PR person has nothing to do with this. Propaganda is not PR. Propaganda is propaganda. Public Relations is everything from publicity of an actor to creating a campaign for a corporation/company to donate money to charity. Aren't those good things??? Ya know, holding companies liable to public opinion??? You are the one who is brainwashed by this ignorant stereotype of how things really run. Idiot read a book!
